Privacy Policy

1. General

This policy explains what information we collect on the Mütercem platform operated by Medimpus Dijital Eğitim Teknolojileri A.Ş., why, and how we protect it. Details on the processing of personal data are in the Personal Data Protection Notice.

2. Information we collect

• Registration and account details (name, surname, e-mail, institution)
• The content you send for translation, transcription and proofreading, and the results
• Credit, order and invoice details (card details stay with the payment provider and never reach us)
• Technical records for security and operation (IP address, browser, sign-in time)
• Cookies: essential cookies and, with your consent, analytics cookies (managed in Cookie Preferences)

3. Confidentiality of your content

The documents, text and images you upload, and your translation, proofreading and transcription results, My Documents and glossary, are visible only in your account; on institutional accounts other users cannot see them. Mütercem does not share or publish this content and does not use it to train any model. When an operation requires it, content is sent over an encrypted connection to a data processor, and only for that operation. Content in My Documents is deleted automatically when its retention period ends; you can also delete it yourself at any time.

4. Security

All connections are encrypted with HTTPS/TLS; passwords are stored as one-way hashes; access to systems is restricted and logged. As no system is completely secure, please tell us immediately if you notice anything suspicious.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. It is shared only with providers needed to deliver the service (translation and AI providers, the payment provider) and where required by law. The list of providers is in the Personal Data Protection Notice.

6. Your rights and contact

You can update your account details in your dashboard, delete your documents and close your account. For your rights under the KVKK and any questions:
